A right-back exchange between Barcelona and Sevilla involving Douglas and Mariano has been mooted and both clubs could be keen. Catalonia’s Mundo Deportivo cites Seville’s Estadio Deportivo as saying Barca are again looking to Nervion for summer signings, having in recent years taken Aleix Vidal and Ivan Rakitic, and Dani Alves before them, with Mariano now on the agenda.

FC Barcelona to begin preseason on 19 July

The team will open with daily workouts at the Ciutat Esportiva followed by a training camp at St. Georges Park in England 
FC Barcelona’s 2016/17 preseason officially opens on 19 July, when the players will be at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for physicals and orientation. Training will begin the following day.
Players taking part in the Copa América, the Euro 2016 and the Summer Olympics will gradually rejoin the team afterwards.

Trip to England

From 25–30 July, the team will hold a preseason training camp at St. George’s Park, the same complex where they trained in the summer of 2014, Luis Enrique’s first as Barça manager.
From there, Barça will fly to Dublin for a 30 July friendly with Celtic as part of the International Champions Cup.

More friendlies confirmed

Besides the game to be played in Dublin on 30 July, two more games are already confirmed: one againstLeicester at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on 3 August, and another against Liverpool atWembley Stadium on 6 August.
The date of the Joan Gamper Trophy, which once again will be the official presentation of the team for the 2016/17 season, as well, as the two legs of the Spanish Super Cup versus Sevilla, have yet to be confirmed.

Tickets sold out for Liverpool v FC Barcelona at Wembley in the International Champions Cup

Wembley stadium will be sold out for the visit of FC Barcelona. Every single ticket has been snapped up for the game with Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool on August 6 in one of the summer’s biggest events, theInternational Champions Cup.
The 90,000 seats in the London stadium went on sale last Friday and sold out in the first hour.
Barça’s other summer friendlies are attracting similar attention. Two thirds of the 51,700 seats in the Avia Stadium, Dublin have already been claimed for the game with Glasgow Celtic on July 30, and sales are also exceptionally fast for the meeting with Premier League champions Leicester City on August 3 in Stockholm. Half of the places in the 50,000 Friends Arena are already booked.
